About

I can lead product and build it

A product leader for situations where strategy, discovery, operating reality and hands-on execution need to meet.

I am a senior product leader based in Prague. I have led product in B2B SaaS and fintech as CPO and Head of Product, and now combine product leadership with hands-on AI workflow building.

I am most useful where a team needs to clarify the problem, break it into decisions, validate direction quickly and turn it into a system people actually use.

I am not an AI guru or ML engineer. I treat AI as an operating layer: context, workflow, human review, clear boundaries and concrete output.

When to reach out

Looking for a product leader who can handle strategy and execution?

I help when a roadmap or delivery alone is not enough. I can lead product, find practical uses of AI inside real workflows and build the first working version, pilot or internal system.

Senior product leadership

For SaaS, fintech or product-led companies that need a Head of Product/CPO profile for discovery, roadmap, growth, product ops or team leadership.

AI workflow discovery

For teams that want to find where AI can save time, improve quality or preserve know-how, then test it with a small pilot and a clear baseline.

Builder proof

Kidly.cz, Ferda and JanOS show that I do not stop at strategy. I build small systems, operating workflows and products that have to work in real life.

Chronology

Where I led product and built systems

From business analysis and enterprise software through B2B SaaS leadership to practical AI systems in small businesses.

Status

Kidly.cz is a practical test of how far a small e-commerce operation can go when content, marketing, analytics and operations are not split into separate teams. AI is not a demo layer here, but a daily working system for decisions, preparation and quality control.

What I own end-to-end

  • Content and SEO system for product and informational surfaces.
  • Meta and Google Ads workflows from preparation to evaluation.
  • Analytics routines that translate data into concrete operating decisions.
  • Repo-based business OS in Claude Code with rules, context and repeatable procedures.
01

Two-person operations

The goal is not to replace judgment, but to reduce manual work between idea, execution and review.

02

Content and SEO

AI helps keep output consistent, use sources of truth and prepare content variants faster.

03

Acquisition

Marketing workflows connect creative, campaigns, performance and feedback into one working rhythm.

04

Operations

Repeatable routines reduce ad hoc work in a small business and keep attention on decisions.

Child-safety product concept

Pre-launch
Status

Ferda is a sensitive product space: parents need reassurance, children need trust and the product must not normalize hidden monitoring. The most important work is defining the boundary between protection, privacy and explainability.

What I own end-to-end

  • Product framing for a third way between parental control and invasive surveillance.
  • Emphasis on transparency toward the child and explainability for parents.
  • Risk work around privacy perception, false positives and trust.
  • Thinking through product value before the feature list.
01

Protection without spying

The product should help in risky situations, not give parents a regular inbox view.

02

Transparency

The child should understand that protection exists and why it is there.

03

Trust

A family safety product has to defend both its technical solution and its sense of fairness.

04

Product risk

The key work is naming boundaries, sensitive data and situations where a human must stay in the loop.

How I approach AI transformation

AI workflow discovery

Product discovery applied to AI: first understand people's work and where time or quality is lost, then run a small pilot with measurement and a clear decision to scale, iterate or stop.

Framework
Status

AI transformation is a product problem. Teams started asking me where AI makes sense for them, and the product framework I use fits it well: start with people's work, not the tool. I bring the same approach to teams from the inside or as outside help.

What I own end-to-end

  • Mapping real workflows and places where people lose time or quality.
  • Scoring opportunities by frequency, impact, feasibility and risk.
  • Designing a beachhead pilot with human review and clear responsibility boundaries.
  • Decision framework to scale, iterate or stop instead of a broad AI transformation program.
01

Workflow first

The tool is selected after understanding the work, not before it.

02

Friction points

Opportunities appear where time, quality or know-how is repeatedly lost.

03

Bounded pilot

A small test has a baseline, human review and clearly named risks.

04

Decision

The outcome is not a deck, but a verdict: scale, iterate or stop.

Status

Klára shows the difference between a chatbot and a learning product. AI is not just a text field, but part of lesson structure, feedback and gradual guidance toward better writing.

What I own end-to-end

  • Designing a learning flow that combines lessons, assignments and feedback.
  • Product thinking about when AI should guide, evaluate or step back.
  • Prototyping in React and connecting to the Claude API.
  • Turning open-ended AI chat into a clearer learning experience.
01

Not just chat

The user needs guidance, context and rhythm, not an empty prompt box.

02

Coaching loop

The strength is in moving between attempt, feedback and the next concrete step.

03

Custom course

Content gives AI boundaries so answers support a specific learning goal.

04

Product structure

AI value comes from a good flow, not only from the model in the background.

Status

JanOS keeps personal context in a form both a human and an AI agent can work with. It is not a notes archive, but an operating layer for projects, decisions, rules, training and long-term systems.

What I own end-to-end

  • Source-of-truth structure for work, personal projects and routines.
  • Skills, rules and context that reduce repeated briefing for agents.
  • Separation of notes, decisions, procedures and active working material.
  • Practical connection to terminal and editor workflows.
01

Source of truth

Important context lives in a versioned and readable form, not just in memory or chat.

02

AI-ready context

The structure is designed so it can be handed to an agent without long manual briefing.

03

Decision making

The system keeps reasons, trade-offs and repeated principles next to the tasks themselves.

04

Personal operations

The same approach is used for work, training, gardening and family projects.

Talk
Status

The talk translates social media product mechanics into language parents can use. It is not about fear of technology, but about practical household rules, understanding habits and having calmer conversations with children.

What I own end-to-end

  • Talk structure for parents who want a practical framework without technical jargon.
  • Explaining social media through attention design, habit and child development.
  • Focus on household rules, relationship and prevention instead of one-off bans.
  • Connection to a broader interest in children's safety in digital environments.
01

Plain language

A parent does not need deep algorithm knowledge; they need to understand the mechanism and impact.

02

Habit and attention

The topic is about how products work with impulse, reward and repetition.

03

Household rules

The output should be concrete boundaries that can be explained and maintained.

04

Calm conversation

The goal is not a fight with the child, but a shared frame for the first years online.

Outside work

The rest of the story.

Work is what I do. This is who I am when I close the laptop.

Jan Kučera as a volunteer firefighter

Volunteer firefighter

Volunteer firefighter. When others run out, I go in. The best school of teamwork and calm under pressure I know.

Family and presence

I am learning to close the laptop on time, be more present with my children and create experiences away from screens. It is as important a system as work.

Training

Morning strength, cycling, running by feel and the long-term goal of being stronger, lighter and more resilient. Not for metrics, but for energy.

Garden

Lawn and garden as another practical system: soil, water, overseeding and regular care. A lawn knowledge base that improves season by season.

Reading and quiet

Books as input, quiet moments as reset. Without a calm head, the rest does not work either.

Contact

Let's talk about something concrete

I am looking for a role where product leadership meets practical AI building. Reach out if you are opening one. And if you have a specific problem for a small AI pilot, write as well.
